The game, not a trailer

Every picture here is the live world.

How it works

Four real days to hatch. Then a life.

Every stage takes real days. There is no timer to buy down. How you warm the egg shapes the temperament it hatches with.

  1. Day 0

    Egg

Keep it warm and turn it. Neighbours who call can warm it too.

  2. Day 4

    Hatchling

Name what hatches. Feed it, play, preen; furnish the room it sleeps in.

  3. Day 11

    Young dragon

Walk the fires together. First fights at the Sunken Warren.

  4. Day 32

    Dragon

Expeditions, the Arena ladder, a family of its own. It flies behind your horse.

Then seventy days a dragon. Retiring it to elder is your choice, not the clock’s. Miss a day and nothing is lost.

What a Dragon Keeper does

A world, not a widget.

Dragon Keepers dig rooms, walk the fires, ride into the capital, fight in the Arena and trade at the post.

A home worth calling on

Arrange the room tile by tile. Dig new chambers behind the hearth. Your house on the Neighbours’ Lane grows a storey for each one.

A capital to walk into

Lairhalla has a market of forty stalls, a fair, a tourney field, a cathedral and the Dragon Throne. Twenty wards, and whoever is in town tonight.

Fires that are always lit

Sit at the Hollow, swim the Springs, ride the Sky Lift. Real people, live chat, and a seven-chapter story told by characters you walk up to.

A horse of your own

Seven coats, five manes, saddles and barding. A horse canters; your dragon flies behind it once you are out of the gate.

Fights your dragon can win

Five hunting grounds and an Arena ladder of eight. Your dragon fights, you call the moves. Every win levels it up.

A family worth the name

Pair two grown dragons and an egg is laid in each nest, bred from both. The family tree only grows.

New in the Vale · September 2026

A capital, a lane of your own, and a horse to get there.

The Vale keeps growing. This month it grew a city.

New capital · Sep 2026

Lairhalla

Twenty wards inside one wall: the Great Market, a fairground, the Old Town, a cathedral and the Dragon Throne. Eighty townsfolk. Every road ends here, and it runs on a phone.

Your own house · Sep 2026

The Neighbours' Lane

Ten houses to a lane, each drawn from its owner's lair. A storey per room dug, the roof in the dragon's colour. Your door opens into your lair.

Horses · Sep 2026

The King's Mews

Pick a coat and mane, fit saddle and barding in the wardrobe, ride or walk. Your dragon flies behind you outside the gate.

  1. 8 Sep 2026 The story is told at the fires. Six storytellers stand in the venues. Walk up and speak with them.
  2. 8 Sep 2026 Hatching is three taps on the shell. A gold dot in the masthead means the egg is ready.
  3. 6 Sep 2026 The Highwall and the Wolfhold. A red fortress on the headland and a grey castle in the snow.
  4. 6 Sep 2026 The Arena and three hunting grounds. A ladder of eight in the ring, and three grounds with something at the far end of each.

The Vale

A short walk in any direction.

24 places on one island with a capital in the middle. Ride between them, or send your grown dragon on expeditions.

Today's advice from Ysolde, an elder: “The wild gave you nothing. It was still a gift.”

Before you knock

The questions people ask at the door.

Is it really free?

Yes. Silver is earned by playing. Gold comes with the story and every fifth level, or you can buy it at the Treasury. Gold buys the finest furniture and clothes, never a faster egg, a stronger dragon or a skipped wait.

Do I have to download anything?

No. It runs in the browser on a phone or desktop. Add it to your home screen if you like.

How long does the egg take?

Four real days. What you do shapes its temperament, not how soon it hatches.

Where does everyone meet?

In Lairhalla, the capital. Your own house is on a lane with nine neighbours.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing. No streaks to lose; the dragon is glad to see you.

Who is it for?

Anyone thirteen and over. Chat is in the shared rooms, in the open.

Your egg is already waiting.

A minute to sign up, four days to hatch.
